Professional: Dr. Mach is an award-winning teacher and administrator with more than ten years' experience in the field. In his current position, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a school with an enrollment just shy of 1,200 students and more than 100 full-time faculty and staff. He earned his PhD from OSU in Educational Psychology with a specialization in child development, school discipline, and trauma-responsive practices. His research interests broadly explore adolescent development, instructional strategies, school discipline, and trauma-responsive educational practices. Dr. Mach also holds National Board Certifications as a Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) through APPA and as a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) through the NIAAA. |
Personal: Kane is married to the love of his life Mary Mach, and together they have two daughters, Brooklyn and Thea, many foster children, and puppy dog Junee. Kane's favorite hobbies include being active in the community, ultimate frisbee, scuba diving, and spending time with family and friends! |

I am forever grateful for their guidance, endless support, infinite love, and for always being there for me when I needed them most. Words cannot describe how much family means to me and I promise to never let all of you down. As a child I didn't like weeding the garden, helping with chores, constant studying, or mowing lawns for the family business, but to be honest, you can't put a value on the life skills I gained from those experiences.
